There’s a new intern at Beacon Hills Hospital, Derek Hale. He’s a subtitute teacher at Beacon Hills High in health class once, and next thing he knows a certain Stiles Stilinski starts showing up in the hospital for treatment. After the third time, Derek gets suspicious.
He’s exasperated. It’s the fourth time he’s seen the kid in just a few weeks.
“Tell me something, Stiles”, he says by the way of greeting, making the kid jerk and flail for a bit. “Are you doing this on purpose?”
“What? What purpose? Me? No, I’m just a little bit of a walking disaster, doctor Hale. No purpose whatsoever.”
Stiles looks completely innocent. Derek sighs, unconvinced.
“If one’s an incident…”
“I’ve sprained my wrist, it was legit!”
“Two’s a concidence…”
“I needed a new prescription.”
“Three’s a pattern…”
“Uh, I was… visiting a friend?”
“Then what’s four, Stiles?”
Stiles doesn’t have anything to say about that, asking him instead if they can grab a bite sometimes, together. Derek agrees. Just so Stiles doesn’t hurt himself anymore, on purpose or not.
Or so he tells himself.

STEREK AU: Derek Hale isn’t an overly known model whilst Stiles Stilinski is a budding photographer. As they get put together for both of them to further their careers, with the kind of modelling Derek does, Stiles starts to enjoy his job and photo’s way too much.
Scott: “Dude, are those the photo’s of the grumpy-ass model you do photography for on your laptop… In your porn folder?!”
Stiles: “Oh my God Scott get the fuck off my laptop and my porn folder!”
Scott: “You’re jacking the dog over a model who is more sour than a lemon tree made from lemons in lemon town. A) You’re creepy and B) Your taste is way off.”
Stiles: “Fuck you.”
